About two years ago I released a song called Belong, a song I thought turned out really well, it was in a style I hadn’t really done before, it was slow, kind of atmospheric yet quite heavy. Since then I’ve wanted to do more of that type of music, while preferably making it a bit heavier still but the time has never been right. Then, 2020 hit with its full force, out of work, out of gigs and a lot of different thoughts and feelings bouncing around inside me, some hopeful, some less so. Now wasn’t just the time I wanted to do it, now I HAD to do it.

Most of it was made during spring and early summer this year yet to me it’s definitely an autumn or even winter kind of album. I don’t know about you but I have some albums that I just can’t or don’t listen to during some seasons, some albums seems to have a warm glow in them suited for spring or summer while others are wonderfully cold or just have a “life is changing while yellow leaves are falling in a cool breeze”-kind of vibe, this album I think is one of the latter ones.

The album consists of five tracks, the first three was written just before the recording this spring, the fourth is a reworking of an older song that fit the mood of the album and the last being a slightly updated version of the song that started the project, Belong.
