Petrus Nordh is an artist from Gothenburg, Sweden who has a hard grooving current sound that contains traces of new pop, retro funk and old soul. He plays guitar and bass-lines simultaneously while he sings about things that has affected his life. The debut ”Too Free EP” was released earlier this year and now he is back with ”Break In Half”, a hard grooving collection of songs about the fear of failure, stress and a longing for a calm state of mind. The music contains traces of D’Angelo P-Funk and Frank Zappa however it is much more straight forward and focused in a melancholic, Scandinavian way.
